Think you have to reschedule your photography session all because of a little cold weather and drizzle?
We originally had this family scheduled for a session a few weeks prior in which, surprise, Mother Nature dumped her first big snow of the season on us! It would've been a stretch to photograph in that first snowfall (especially with a wee little baby) so we were forced to reschedule. Low & behold on the day of the rescheduled session, while driving to the location, Mother Nature struck again. This time it was only a light drizzle so we carried on, and I'm so glad we did.
Little baby braved the cold so well, and we ended up with some pretty darn cute captures! I will be honest, since this was my first time photographing in the light rain it threw me for a loop. I had to shake the apprehension and get creative with standing poses, since we didn't want to sit on the muddy ground. ;) My main focus was to keep these three under trees to keep them as dry as possible.
And if you're wondering, we wrapped up the session just in the nick of time. As we were driving away from the park, it started to pour!
